A true connoisseur's Tequila, 1800 Anejo is designed for the ultimate Tequila lover. Made from 100% Blue Agave, the dark amber hue comes from the deeply charred oak barrels in which it rests for more than one year. Luscious aromas of vanilla, nutmeg and cloves are combined with layers of intense butterscotch and chocolate. The rich, well-rounded flavor is an elegant marriage of Agave, spices and toasted oak with a pleasantly spicy finish of pepper and honey. 1800 Anejo is best enjoyed on its own, served neat or on the rocks with a twist of orange.

Each bottle of our prototype series whiskey is documented with a serial number that has thirteen different elements. Every element is a factor that contributes flavor to a whiskey. Some may have greater impact than others, but for us, they all are important. As we create new mash bills and experiment with different yeast strains, barrel proofs, cooperages, etc… we'll be sharing each number to tell the complete story of how the flavor developed. We thought that you would appreciate knowing all the details of our whiskey-making process. This red has a stunning surface, cleaned and profound. The flavors are somewhat quieted, however, uncover notes of cherry jam, sweetened orange, dried herbs, and vanilla, with light, firm tannins and orange strip corrosiveness. Agreeable, in the conventional style. 2014 was a to some degree testing vintage, with warm and cold spells and some downpour throughout the mid-year. The maturation, as a rule, keeps going eight days with pigéage and remontage, squeezed, and put to age in 225-liter American oak barrels for 19 months. This is still a little youthful and has had less time in the bottle. It may require somewhat additional time in the bottle. The nose is unobtrusive and agreeable, with fragrances of red fruits and some sweet-smelling herbs.
