The 2018 Gr?ner Veltliner (from 2007 and 2008 vines on Seneca Lake near Hector) comes in with 4.8 grams of residual sugar, 5.9 of total acidity and 12.4% alcohol. This is pleasing and, unlike many in the Finger Lakes, shows some expression of the grape's character. It doesn't have enough concentration or power, though. This is very pleasing, but it's a couple of steps short of distinguished. I'd drink it fairly young. 86 Points Wine Advocate
