A distinctive member of the Jack Daniel’s family, the Green Label bottle is either loved or hated but still always talked about. This whiskey has a smoother taste and lighter color, but while it is not nearly as popular as the Black Label brand, there is something about this bottle that collectors around the world can’t get enough of. Most likely it is the mystery of the Green Label bottle that keeps its popularity high, as there are frequent rumors of it being discontinued. Not knowing if or where one might find it next, along with the constant threat of extinction, is enough to keep anyone’s interest…

Bulleit Bourbon, "Frontier Whiskey" was originally distilled in 1830. Over the years the brand has moved from one company to another and one distillery to another. Since 1997 Bulleit has been a Seagram product and it is made at their Lawrenceburg distillery in Kentucky. Bulleit is produced with a higher proportion of rye than most other Bourbons, creating a drier more complex spirit. The distillery has its own Grain Division, which acquires distiller's grade grains grown to Bulleit's specification. Only limestone-filtered water is used during production which sees the whiskey distilled in small batches then aged for no less than six years in a single-story warehouse (which is said to reduce inconsistencies in the maturation process). In March, 2004 Bulleit Bourbon won the Gold Medal for being in the top of its class at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition - beating more expensive and better known premium bourbons such as Knob Creek, Maker's Mark and Jim Beam Black.

This bottle of Johnnie Walker is named Swing after the rocking motion the bottle makes when pushed. Naturally this is a collectable item.

One of those harder-to-find whiskies, Johnnie Walker Green Label is a 15 year old blended malt which was awarded an impressing 95 points in Jim Murray's 2010 Whisky Bible.

Red Label was created by the Johnnie Walker company in 1909, this is a classic blended whiskies, a great mixer and back bar favourite.

An interesting twist on Johnnie Walker Black Label, Double Black was rolled out for general release in 2011 after a successful launch in travel retail. Double Black adds to the normal Black Label profile by including more Islay whisky and casks that have been heavily charred, giving a more intense flavour with a greater emphasis on smoke while keeping true to the sophisticated Johnnie Walker style.

Black Label boasts superior depth and complexity, with a smokier, fuller flavour than other deluxe blends. Its distinctive character stems from its use of a remarkably diverse range of 12+ year old malts, drawn from over 700 casks. One whisky in particular, Cardhu, was considered so vital that the Walker family bought the distillery in 1893 so that its characteristic silkiness would lie at the heart of the blend.

2017 Amancaya Cabernet Sauvignon is profound ruby shading. The nose is extraordinary with notes of white blossoms, red fruits, and figs. The sense of taste is succulent and complex with traces of cloves and different flavors. This even wine is a rich articulation of the mix of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are portrayed by a decent harmony among sugar and sharpness and by the non-abrasiveness of the tannins normal for Malbec. The Cabernet Sauvignon from more profound soils had a more slow development, while those from stony soils arrived at a magnificent parity and their ordinary zesty character with more prominent readiness.
